If you are unable to make an outright gift, you can sign a pledge to pay your desired gift amount over a certain period of time.
We will work closely with your legal, tax, and other advisers to come up with an integrated plan that meets your personal goals. Please call us at 717-531-8497 for more information.
Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT)
You can complete a simple form to instruct your bank or savings institution to make monthly gift payments of $10.00 or more to Penn State College of Medicine or Hershey Medical Center. Within two months, you will begin to see the deducted amount on your account statement (deducted the first week of each month). The deduction will continue until you choose to cancel or change the amount of your monthly gift.
Each January, you will receive a gift receipt from Penn State showing the amount you've given through our EFT program during the previous calendar year. Save that receipt for tax documentation.
To begin this process, complete the EFT authorization form and mail it along with a voided check to Penn State's Office of Annual Giving (address below). On the form, please write "Penn State Hershey" as the campus to benefit from your EFT.

Making a gift of personal property enables you to share a personal item with others while receiving tax benefits. Many donors have given collections of books, artwork, and equipment to Penn State campuses, enriching the hands-on learning experience of students and providing valuable resources for faculty.
When you donate property, you receive an income tax deduction based on its full market value. At the same time, you will be enhancing our mission in a visible way.
